ALcC Volunteer: More Information
As an ALcC volunteer, you are filling a gap and fulfilling purpose. It is a vital purpose for living by which people of various backgrounds come together on the event day and experience the common good. Coming together brings hope and value for one another in the community. You contribute to that purpose through using some of your precious time to reach out with a sausage (as the saying goes, everyone loves a sausage!) while engaging with them in any encouraging way possible. It's about sharing those hands of faith, hope and love because you have a heart for our shared humanity, and you CARE.
Through the sausage sizzle event, people get a purpose for coming together, enjoy a community sizzle day and ...chat, chat, chat! People meet people and make friends; kids meet other kids, and young people catch up with others in a loving and fun-filled sizzle day! As a volunteer, you make this happen while the sizzle funds you help to generate goes to support the charitable cause at FReN-Australia.
You get to choose your availability and we do our best to make it happen: dates, venue, and hours: 2 hours, 4 hours, half a day or full day (a Bunnings sizzle day, for example, runs 8am - 4.00pm). Click on the button below to sign up.
